Imagine began with my daughter.
Like many parents, I wanted the very best for my child. But raising a daughter with autism taught me something unexpected.
The more I learned to understand her, the more I learned to understand myself.
She has shown me new ways of seeing the world, celebrating joy, slowing down, noticing beauty, and appreciating the simple things that often go unnoticed.
She continues to inspire me every day.
Why I'm Building Imagine
Imagine was born from both love and concern.
Love for my daughter and concern about what happens when childhood services end.
As she grows older, I have become increasingly aware of the gaps that many families face when their children transition into adulthood. Opportunities become limited. Community becomes harder to find. Families are often left wondering what comes next.
I didn't want to spend my energy worrying about the future.
I wanted to spend it helping create it.
Imagine is my commitment to building the kinds of opportunities, experiences, and connections that every individual deserves.
